Publishing

The Bynkershoek Institute aims at active disseminating its ideas and innovations trough printed material. As of 2006 it realized that through the establishment of a publishing “house”.

Initially, the imprint was in Dutch and used the name of the institute’s namegiver in the Dutch spelling. This “Uitgeverij Bijnkershoek” published an internal prublication to commemorate the retirement of Jos Bijlsma.

After assisting in the design and establishment of the International Bachelor of Law Program of The Hague University of Applied Sciences, “Bynkershoek Publishing” was established. See the next page for details.

Around 2010 the Dutch law HBO-Rechten program requested the Bynkershoek Institute to assist in realizing similar learning material for the Dutch students. To foster easy identification, an additional imprint was chosen, named after famous Dutch jurist Joannes van der Linden. This imprint is currently leased to Triple Solutions (Foundation). Bynkershoek Publishing is also used to coordinate, produce and distribute the Bynkershoek Law Review. See next page for details.
